The new contract, which expires in December 2022, includes a wage increase that recognizes the value of YVR members` work, substantial improvements to short-term sick leave, an increase in on-call pay, improvements in the payment of replacement days and compensatory leave, as well as a language that recognizes gender identity or expression as prohibited grounds of discrimination in the collective agreement. PSAC and UCTE are pleased to announce that a new collective agreement has been ratified by UCTE Local 20221 members, who are directly employed by the Vancouver Airport Authority.
